Will there be vegetarian food?
Yes, the caterers are fully prepared for vegetarian, vegan, kosher, halal and other food needs. Make sure to include your dietary restrictions in the registration system.
Will there be security for the projects?
Yes, there is 24-hour security provided in the Exhibit Hall. We recommend that students keep electronic devices with them overnight.

Youth Science Canada has identified seven challenges, known as the Canada-Wide Youth Science Challenges, which focus on issues that are important to Canada’s youth, the future of our country and our world. They reflect the growing trend in current Canadian science, technology and innovation to focus on specific multi- and interdisciplinary global, national and provincial issues.

From the CWSF 2018 Ottawa Host Committee
We are pleased and proud to welcome the 57th annual Canada-Wide Science Fair to Ottawa, Ontario, from May 12-19, 2018.  Approximately 500 of Canada's top young scientists from grades 7 to 12 and CÉGEP will have the honor of representing their regional science fairs at this exciting event, with the opportunity to share in awards, prizes and scholarships that may very well shape their futures. Beyond showcasing their projects, students will:

La salle d'exposition sera dans le Gymnase A du Complexe sportif de l'Université de Regina. 
La salle d'exposition est à environ 3 minutes à pied de la tour nord et de la tour sud des résidences.
L'accès à la salle d'exposition est limité à ceux qui possède un porte-nom de l'ESPC, du début (lundi 15 mai) jusqu'à la fin de l'expo-sciences (samedi 20 mai). La seule exception est lors des visites scolaires et des visites du public.

Project Set-up and Take-down

The Exhibit Hall will be in GYM A, located in the Centre for Health, Sport and Kinesiology at the University of Regina.  
The Exhibit Hall is about a 3-minute walk from the North and South Tower Residences.  
Admission to the Exhibit Hall is restricted to those with CWSF ID, from the start (Monday, May 15) to the end of the fair (Saturday May 20). The only exception is during scheduled public/school viewing.

Bourses d’études

Plusieurs universités offrent des bourses d’études aux meilleurs finalistes à l’Expo-sciences pancanadienne (ESPC). La libre candidature n’est pas requise pour ces prix; les récipiendaires sont choisis parmi les médaillées et médaillés de l’ESPC.
