CWSF Project Judging Form

On judging day, each of the five judges meets with the finalist(s) for about 20-minutes. Judges expect to spend approximately 10 minutes hearing a presentation about the project, followed by 10 minutes for questions. Each judge assigns a level (1-4) for each Part - scientific thought, originality & creativity, and communication - using the rubric on the back of the CWSF Project Judging Form. The judge also enters a rating (0-9) for each part that reflects the quality of the project and its strength relative to other projects he/she has assigned the same level.
